		<description>Memphis Menswear

A catalogue and invitation designed for a collaborative exhibition between the Italian Trade Commission and the Central Saint Martins Menswear course. The theme of the exhibition was the post-modernist design group Memphis. Our graphic output also took a great deal of inspiration from the concepts within their work, including the use of contrasting materials textures, and decoration as an integral aspect within the design.

Catalogue: 32 pages

		<description>Experimental Screenprints

A small project where I generated images to accompany a nonsensical phrase which I had produced by randomly choosing words from a book I was currently reading. The phrase here was strange Janus-faced image taken from Design as Art by Bruno Munari. Screen printed.

		<description>New Era 90th Anniversary Exhibition

I was one of 90 students from Europe selected to design a cap for New Era’s 90th Anniversary. The inspiration behind my design came from the associations New Era in the UK has with shadowy urban sub-culture as opposed to baseball. Consequently I chose to celebrate ‘Nyx’, the Greek primordial goddess of the night.

The 90 finished designs formed a touring exhibition and were also documented in a limited edition book.

<description>Entrance Graphic / Visual Archive Project

The entrance graphic to our degree show was made up of hundreds of slide photographs which documented the construction of our show as well as the week the exhibition was open to the public. The scale encouraged people into the centre of the room to take a closer look. The aim was to create a visual representation of our degree show in its entirety.

Designed with Nia Murphy and Daniel McGhee

		<description>Environmental Lettering

For this project we were challenged to come up with suitable lettering that responded to a specific location. My location in Camberwell Green was on the opposite side of the road to a sign that said NEVER GIVE UP. I liked to positive community message it broadcast but felt it was going unnoticed.
I proposed to start a dialogue between signs on the street in order to generate more attention.

I worked with Ed Cornish and Alex Prior one afternoon creating traditional woodblock style type out of potatoes. It was a fun project, we liked the idea that you could print with anything you could lay your hands on. We printed typographic mother’s day cards to raise money for our final degree show as well as an A-Z collection of our letters.
